Khartoum State Government Commemorates the Defeat of the Rebel Militia in Khartoum

Khartoum State Government, chaired by Governor Ahmed Osman Hamza, commemorated the anniversary of the defeat of the rebel militia in Khartoum. Government members offered prayers for the souls of the martyrs of the Battle of Dignity, wished a speedy recovery to the wounded, and hoped for the safe return of prisoners and missing persons.

The meeting also commended the Armed Forces and their supporting forces fighting on all fronts to liberate the country from the rebellion and its allies.

The official spokesperson for the state government, Acting Minister of Culture, Information, and Tourism, Al-Tayeb Saad El-Din, stated that the meeting focused on organizing the general situation to support the work of the High Committee for Preparing the Public Environment for the Return of Citizens to Khartoum State, anticipating a large influx of citizens after the Eid holiday.

The official spokesperson added that the ministers in charge, the executive directors of local authorities, and the secretaries-general of the higher councils presented reports outlining the arrangements for implementing this year’s plan to meet commitments related to citizen services and infrastructure development.
