The Sudanese Armed Forces have been monitoring the targeting of a gathering of citizens in the Al-Tina region of the Republic of Chad by a drone belonging to the terrorist militia of the Dagalo family, which resulted in the killing of a number of innocent civilians.

This incident is part of a recurring pattern of targeting civilians in Al-Tina, Chad and Sudan, during the period from December 25, 2025, to March 18, 2026, in flagrant violation of international laws and humanitarian norms.

The Sudanese Armed Forces extend their deepest condolences and sincere sympathies to the families of the victims and to the government and people of the Republic of Chad, affirming their full solidarity with them in this tragic event.

The Armed Forces reiterate their condemnation and denunciation of such criminal acts and affirm their commitment to protecting civilians and working with neighboring countries to maintain the security and stability of the region.
