Assassination of RSF Commander in Nyala

The city of Nyala, the capital of South Darfur State in western Sudan, witnessed the assassination of RSF field commander Ahmed Adam Abboud.

The assassination of the field commander, who had recently become active in media, took place inside the livestock market in Nyala.

The deceased hailed from the Ad-Daein area of ​​South Darfur, where activists vowed to exact retribution from those they called criminals.

The RSF led a rebellion against the Sudanese Armed Forces on April 15, 2023, and spared no civilians in its aggression, killing them and looting their property in cities and villages. However, some of its members have turned this criminal activity against each other. A few days ago, a commander was killed in Kordofan by a group known as “Shifshafa,” thieves affiliated with the same militia. Today, Commander Abboud was killed.
