Al-Burhan Reviews Public Prosecution Performance

Head of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Lieutenant General Abdul Fattah al-Burhan, reviewed the performance of the Public Prosecution during the past period and its efforts to establish justice and protect human rights.

This came during his meeting on Sunday with Attorney General Intisar Ahmed Abdel Aal of the Republic of Sudan.

The meeting addressed the plans and programs implemented by the Public Prosecution to achieve justice and the rule of law, in addition to the field visits conducted by prosecution teams to a number of prisons in the states to assess the conditions of the inmates.

The meeting also discussed the significant work undertaken by the Public Prosecution in investigating the serious crimes and violations committed by the RSF terrorist militia against civilians, as well as combating corruption, ensuring accountability, and protecting human rights.
