Al-Burhan Makes Phone Call to Emir of Qatar

Head of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Lieutenant General Abdul Fattah al-Burhan, made a phone call today to the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani. During the call, he inquired about the situation in Qatar in light of the blatant Iranian attacks.

Al-Burhan declared that Sudan, both government and people, stands with the sisterly State of Qatar in the face of the Iranian aggression it is experiencing.

He affirmed the Sudanese government’s solidarity with the sisterly State of Qatar and its unlimited support for it in confronting this brutal aggression.

He emphasized Qatar’s legitimate right to defend its security, its people, and its sovereignty over its territory.

His Excellency expressed his wishes for continued security, peace, and stability for the brotherly people of Qatar.
