Al-Atta: Integrating Supporting Forces into Regular Institutions Soon

Member of the Sovereignty Council and Assistant Commander-in-Chief of the Sudanese Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Yasser Abdel Rahman Al-Atta, announced that the next phase will witness the integration of the supporting forces that participated alongside the Armed Forces into regular institutions, according to the established terms and standards for joining these institutions.

Addressing the stationed forces, Al-Atta stated that the integration process will include the Armed Forces, the Police Force, and the General Intelligence Service, emphasizing that the step will be applied to all supporting forces that participated in what he described as the “War of Dignity” without exception.

He added that the integration process will include the Joint Forces, the Sudan Shield, and the Al-Baraa Brigades, in addition to the Revolutionary Brigades and the Popular Resistance. He indicated that the mechanisms for implementing the integration will be activated soon and will begin immediately without waiting for further timelines.

The Assistant to the Commander-in-Chief affirmed that the state and the military establishment bear the responsibility of regularizing the status of individuals unwilling to join the regular institutions by subjecting them to vocational training programs and equipping them with skills and professions that will help them secure a decent living and integrate into society.

He added that this step comes within the framework of the state’s efforts to reorganize the forces and direct energies towards contributing to building the nation in the coming phase.
