Northern State/The Citizen

Minister of Human Resources and Social Welfare Mutassim Ahmed Saleh stated that his visit to the Northern State today (Monday) aims to observe the services provided to the displaced people of Kordofan and Darfur. In a press statement during the inauguration of a support convoy organized by the Ministry of Human Resources for the North, he warned that the Ministry is working according to a well-established and integrated plan to secure the basic needs of the displaced by focusing on social support and shelter services.

Saleh explained that his visit to the North will include the localities of Halfa, Dalgo, Al-Gould, Al-Dibba, and Murouri to assess the conditions of the displaced people on the ground, ensure the flow of aid distribution operations, and address any challenges that hinder the delivery of support to those who deserve it, in coordination with the state government and the relevant authorities, especially since the northern region hosts more than 50 thousand displaced families.

Saleh assured the continuation of federal support for the displaced people and citizens of the state and announced arrangements to inject more humanitarian aid during the next phase, in addition to additional support from businessman Fadl Mohammed Khair to support the displaced people and improve their living conditions.
