The Minister of Higher Education inspects the Horizon College of Science and Technology in Khartoum

The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Ahmed Mudawi Moussa, paid an inspection visit to the Horizon College of Science and Technology at its main premises south of Khartoum, accompanied by Dr. Abdelkader Mohamed Hassan, Director of the General Directorate of Private, Private, and Foreign Higher Education, and Dr. Mortada Ali Osman, Director of the Ministerial Executive Office. He was received by Prof. Ahmed Majzoub Ahmed, Dean of the College, along with a number of faculty members and students.

The Minister of Higher Education stressed that non-governmental education represents a basic and complementary tributary to government education and an important pillar in the country’s higher education system. Prof. Mudawi praised the efforts of the administration of Horizon College, appreciating their insistence on the continuation of the educational process despite the current exceptional circumstances that the country is going through, and the challenges faced by higher education institutions in particular.

For his part, the Dean of the College reviewed the efforts of the senior management before, during, and after the war through a documentary film that dealt with the College’s journey and the challenges it faced, as well as the outcomes of its conditions in order to continue its studies. Additionally, he presented a detailed report on the progress of the academic and administrative performance at the College.
