Sudan Railways Corporation Announces Resumption of Atbara-Khartoum Train Service

The Sudan Railways Corporation announced the resumption of train service between the city of Atbara and the capital, Khartoum, as part of its efforts to restore rail lines and enhance transportation services for citizens.

The corporation explained that the train from Atbara to Khartoum will depart on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, with the return journey from Khartoum to Atbara scheduled for Thursday, February 12, 2026.

The corporation affirmed its commitment to taking all necessary technical and operational measures to ensure the safety of the journeys, and urged citizens to follow subsequent announcements regarding schedules and related services.
