IGAD Executive Secretary, H.E. Dr. Workneh Gebeyehu, posted the following:

Received the Ambassador of the Republic of Sudan to the Republic of Djibouti and to IGAD, H.E. Amb. Mohammed Saeed, with whom we discussed the ongoing situation in Sudan and the country’s engagement within IGAD. I welcomed the Ambassador to the IGAD Committee of Ambassadors, where we will continue to deliberate on ways to ensure peace for the Sudanese people and the stability of the IGAD region.
