Darfur Diaspora Association Group in the UK: London Prioritized its Interests with Abu Dhabi Over the El Fasher Tragedy

Darfur Diaspora Association in the United Kingdom criticized London’s disregard for the massacre perpetrated by the Rapid Support Forces militia in El Fasher.

The Association stated that it had repeatedly appealed to and warned the British Foreign Office about the events in El Fasher, but the ministry prioritized its economic interests with the United Arab Emirates over British values.

The statement noted that “between diplomacy and political hypocrisy, the truth was lost and genocide was committed in El Fasher,” questioning the extent to which the United Kingdom bears any responsibility for the genocide witnessed in the city.
