Al-Burhan: No Solutions Except Eliminating the Rebellion or Its Surrender

Head of the Sovereignty Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Abdul Fattah al-Burhan, today witnessed the graduation of new classes of officers from the colleges of Karari University. These included the 25th class from the College of Engineering, the 9th class from the College of Medicine, the 10th class from the College of Pharmacy, the 10th class from the College of Dentistry, and the 24th class from the Naval College.

During his address at the graduation ceremony, Head of the Sovereignty Council and Commander-in-Chief affirmed that the Armed Forces and the Sudanese people will continue the battle for dignity until the terrorist rebel militia is defeated and the country is cleansed of its presence.

He emphasized that “we have no option but to continue the battle to its end, or for the enemy to surrender and be eliminated.”

Al-Burhan reiterated his offer of forgiveness and pardon to the fighters who were misled, saying, “The doors of repentance are open, and we, as Sudanese, adhere to the values ​​necessary for national unity.”

He clarified that the armed forces have no animosity towards any group that took up arms as a result of incitement or misinformation, and called on them to lay down their weapons and return. He added, “We welcome all who choose to stand with the nation.” He also noted that armed groups have joined the armed forces and now direct their weapons against the enemy.

Head of the Sovereignty Council addressed a message to politicians, stating that the doors are open to anyone who genuinely desires to return to the path of righteousness. He simultaneously warned that persisting in hostility and fabricating accusations against the army and the people will be met with accountability.

He added that the features of the next phase are based on building a “smart army” that relies on science and technology, noting that information and technology have become essential components of modern warfare. He revealed the Armed Forces’ intention to develop scientific research mechanisms in the fields of aviation, drones, mobile weapons, and defense systems, in addition to attracting young engineering and technical personnel to enhance military capabilities.

Al-Burhan praised the steadfastness of the Sudanese people and their support for their Armed Forces in this existential battle, and their deterrence of the Dagalo terrorist militia, pointing out that this battle is one of the most difficult battles the Sudanese people have fought.

He affirmed that the military institution will remain true to its pledge to protect national sovereignty, defend the homeland, and achieve security and stability, far removed from any partisan or tribal affiliation, under one motto: (God – (Homeland).

He praised the pioneering role played by Karari University in supplying the armed forces with qualified personnel in all disciplines.

He congratulated the graduates, emphasizing the immense national responsibility placed upon them in protecting the nation’s resources, safeguarding its security and stability, and ensuring its sovereignty and territorial integrity.
