The National Housing Corporation for the Armed Forces Announces Coordination with the NSWF in Dormitory Reconst
The National Housing Corporation for the Armed Forces announced its support for the National Student Welfare Fund (NSWF) and its coordination with the Fund, particularly regarding the reconstruction of student dormitories.
The Corporation affirmed its commitment to strengthening institutional partnerships that support the educational process and achieve social stability.
This announcement came during a meeting between the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Professor Ahmed Madawi Musa, accompanied by the Secretary-General of the NSWF, Dr. Ahmed Hamza Al-Amin, and the Director of the National Housing Corporation for the Armed Forces, Major General Engineer Abbas Ibrahim Mohamed Al-Hajj.
The meeting addressed several issues related to housing projects and their role in supporting the families of martyrs and the student sector.
The Minister of Higher Education explained in a press statement following the meeting that the housing project for the families of martyrs of the Battle of Dignity is a pioneering initiative and represents the least the Sudanese government can offer to the families of those who sacrificed their lives and gave their all for the nation. He noted that the housing projects he reviewed reflect an ambitious vision and well-considered plans that contribute to achieving social stability.
In the same context, the Secretary-General of the NSWF, Dr. Ahmed Hamza Al-Amin, stated that the project adopted by the National Housing Corporation for the Armed Forces is a progressive project to house the families of martyrs of the Battle of Dignity from the Armed Forces and its supporting forces. He pointed out that it is a commendable effort undertaken by the military establishment under the leadership of the Commander-in-Chief, with the support of the Sudanese government represented by the Prime Minister, in fulfillment of the sacrifices of those who gave their lives for Sudan. He emphasized that housing for the families of martyrs is an inalienable right. The Secretary-General expressed the Fund’s appreciation for the National Housing Corporation of the Armed Forces’ stance and its nationalistic spirit regarding the Fund’s support for students. He revealed that the Corporation had submitted several proposals for the restoration and rehabilitation of Khartoum State dormitories that were systematically destroyed by the rebel militia.
The Secretary-General affirmed the NSWF’s continued support for the Armed Forces, backing the students’ return to their studies and ensuring suitable housing for the families of martyrs, befitting the magnitude of their sacrifices and their national standing.
