The Director General of the State Health Ministry praises SAPA’s contributions to the health sector

Dr. Fateh Al-Rahman Mohamed Al-Amin, Director General of the Ministry of Health in Khartoum State and the Acting Minister, praised the great role played by the Sudanese Physicians Association in the United States (SAPA) in supporting and developing the health sector in the state, commending its efforts in rehabilitating health institutions and enhancing their readiness to provide better services to citizens.
This came during his inspection visit to Bahri Hospital, which has been fully rehabilitated by SAPA in preparation for its reopening in the coming days, in the presence of Dr. Faisal Ahmed Al-Nour, Country Director of SAPA, and Dr. Muntaser Ibrahim, Director of the Khartoum Sector.
The Director General was accompanied by a number of the Ministry’s leaders, including Dr. Taha Al-Musallami Al-Kabbashi, Director of the Health System, and Dr. Ahmed Al-Bashir, Director of the General Directorate of Therapeutic Medicine, Dr. Samuel Haj Osman, Director of the General Directorate of Laboratories and Blood Banks, in addition to Abdulazim Aidarous, Executive Director of the Director-General’s Office, Dr. Awad Al-Kamel, Director General of Bahri Hospital, and Salah Al-Hajj, Administrative Director.
Dr. Fateh Al-Rahman stressed that the reopening of Bahri Hospital represents a qualitative addition to health services in the Bahri locality and contributes to reducing the pressure on other health institutions. He praised the effective partnerships between the Ministry of Health and national and international organizations, especially SAPA, in supporting the health system in the state.
