The Director General of Social Development supervises the Children’s Entertainment Day Program in East Nile Locality

The Director General of the Ministry of Social Development, the Acting Minister, Siddiq Hassan Farini, confirmed his great happiness with the participation of the children in the East Nile locality during the recreational day, as they illustrated the features of community recovery in the state of Khartoum and expressed, with genuine joy, the return of life after the war, which the Rapid Support Militia attempted to disrupt by undermining all aspects of education, security, and the future, exposing them to killing, displacement, and all kinds of violations.

The Secretary General of the National Council for Child Welfare, Dr. Abdel Qader Abu called for the integration of roles and coordination between partners in all childhood issues, especially the partnership with the Ministry of Social Development in many programs and activities to increase community awareness.

Meanwhile, the representative of the Executive Director of the locality, Othman Ali, welcomed the attendees, conveying the greetings of the Executive Director for the presence of His Excellency the Minister and the distinguished guests. He thanked the movement that took place in the locality through awareness centers and programs, promising more programs and projects in the coming period.

Mawadda Al-Siddique, Secretary of the Child Welfare Council, who is in charge of preparing the community to raise awareness on issues related to children, mentioned that mothers and children are targeted with awareness initiatives in various fields.

Tahani Saadan, Director of the Al-Alaq Center for Media Services at the Ministry, pointed to the importance of partnership between civil society components and government institutions to serve the segments of society, especially children, stressing her happiness to return to the state.
