Lieutenant General Ibrahim Jaber inaugurates Bahri Teaching Hospital

The city of Khartoum Bahri witnessed the opening of the Bahri Teaching Hospital in a step that is considered a new start for the reconstruction of the health sector in Sudan. The member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council and Chairman of the Supreme Committee for the Preparation and Reconstruction of Khartoum, Lieutenant General Ibrahim Jaber, praised the White Army and the cadres of the health sector, stressing that the country has started a new phase of construction and victory with the efforts of its people, while opening the doors of Sudan to UN organizations and bodies to provide support in the fields of health and education.
The Federal Minister of Health, Prof. Haitham Mohamed Ibrahim, announced that the health sector is witnessing a real renaissance, as the rate of operation and restoration of health institutions has exceeded 86% in the capital, pointing out that The hospital includes more than 700 beds, intensive care and emergency rooms, and operates as a training service hospital in various medical specialties. He also thanked the Saba Organization as the first supporter of the “Join Us” initiative for our hospital.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors of SAPA, Dr. Yasser Yousef Al-Amin, confirmed that the organization’s efforts have contributed to the rehabilitation of more than 106 health institutions, including 2 in cooperation with Islamic Relief USA , and the establishment of five intermediate care rooms, in addition to the maintenance of the Saudi Hospital and Bahri Hospital. He pledged to support the operational cost of Bahri Hospital during the first three months and to continue working on the maintenance of Ibrahim Malik Hospital, within the framework of the Ministry’s plan to reconstruct the health sector.
Governor of Khartoum State, Ahmed Osman Hamza, greeted the leadership of the state, represented by the President of the Sovereignty Council, the Armed Forces, the police forces, and all those who took up arms and fought in the battle of dignity. He welcomed the people of Bahri (the secret of love).
The governor greeted the brothers in SAPA and the distinguished guests of the country, acknowledging the support they provided on the ground. He stated that the work with SAPA is fruitful because of their efforts, and they are the first to respond to the call to serve the country.
The Minister of Health of Khartoum State, Fateh Al-Rahman Mohamed Al-Amin, praised the efforts of SAPA and its support for the health sector and all the cadres working in the Ministry, hospitals, and health centers.
