Farini Launches Cash Support for Orphans as Part of Ghaith Al-Barakat Program (8)

The Director General of the Ministry of Social Development, the Acting Minister Siddiq Hassan Farini, inaugurated the cash support for orphans within the framework of Ghaith Al-Barakat Program No. (8). This initiative was implemented by the Zakat Bureau in Khartoum State, targeting 1,270 orphans in the state, in the presence of Mohammed Yaqoub Al-Ghazali, Director of the Zakat Bureau in Karri, and the representative of the Secretary General of Zakat in the state.

Farini welcomed the mothers of orphans inside the dome of the parliament that witnessed Sudan’s independence, thanking the governor of Khartoum, Ahmed Osman Hamza, who organized the celebration of the seventieth anniversary of independence. He indicated that receiving the mothers of orphans is a tribute to them, pointing out that the interest of the government of Khartoum in orphans stems from the values of a rights-conscious society and orphans from the categories covered by care, and his appreciation of the efforts of the Zakat Bureau in providing cash support and other aid.

Mohammed Yaqoub Al-Ghazali, Director of the Zakat Bureau, confirmed that the inauguration is part of the Ghaith Al-Barakat program (8), and the support of (1,270) orphans was completed today under the patronage of the Secretary General of the Bureau in the state and the honor of the Minister of Social Development.

The Secretary of the Orphan Welfare Council, Najat Mohammed Hassan, confirmed that this meeting embodies the meanings of solidarity and compassion and confirms the keenness of the state and its institutions.
