TSC Mourns the Passing of Sudanese Song Ambassador, Artist Abdel Qader Salem

The Transitional Sovereignty Council mourns the passing of the great artist, Dr. Abdel Qader Salem, who passed away today after a brief illness.

In mourning his loss, the Sovereignty Council mourns for the Sudanese people a pioneer of Sudanese song and one of the most prominent pillars of music in the country.

The deceased was known for his great passion for Sudanese heritage, traveling the world to promote it, especially the authentic Kordofan heritage.

The deceased leaves behind a cultural and artistic legacy that will guide and inspire future generations.
