The Director General of the Ministry of Social Development inspects Bahri Elderly Home

The Director General of the Ministry of Social Development in Khartoum State, Siddiq Freini, paid an inspection visit to the Bahri Elderly Home (Al-Daw Hajouj) in Bahri locality, during which he was accompanied by the Director of the General Directorate of Social Welfare, Ms. Ikhlas Al-Maqbool. This visit was part of the Ministry’s arrangements to start rehabilitating shelters and addressing the major damages caused to them as a result of their use as military barracks by the militia.

During the visit, the Director General stressed the need to develop the necessary plans for the rehabilitation of the nursing home in Bahri, emphasizing the Ministry’s commitment to restoring services and providing care to vulnerable groups. He also called on national and international organizations, volunteers, and philanthropists to actively participate in rehabilitation efforts and support the social welfare sector and promote the values of community solidarity during this critical stage.
