Foreign Ministry Affirms Support for Saudi Arabia against Separatists in Yemen

The Sudanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly condemned the UAE’s support for the Southern Transitional Council forces in Yemen, considering it support for terrorism and an undermining of legitimacy. The Ministry affirmed its full support for Saudi efforts to restore legitimacy and protect Yemeni territory.

The Ministry clarified that Sudan stands with Saudi Arabia in combating terrorism and promoting security and stability in the region, calling on all parties to exercise restraint and resolve differences through dialogue. It also affirmed Sudan’s commitment to the security and stability of Yemen and called on the international community to support Saudi Arabia’s efforts in this regard.
