Director General of GIS on Field Visit

The Director General of the General Intelligence Service, Lieutenant General Ahmed Ibrahim Mufaddal, conducted a field visit to the Martyrs’ Cemetery of the War of Dignity at the Sirkab Camp, in a gesture of loyalty and gratitude for the sacrifices of the regular forces.

During the visit, he offered prayers for the souls of the martyrs who gave their lives defending the homeland and protecting its land and honor, affirming that their sacrifices will remain a guiding light for future generations in the path of national resilience.

Mufaddal praised the steadfastness shown by the fighters in the War of Dignity, considering that these sacrifices contributed to strengthening national unity and thwarting attempts to undermine Sudan and its security. As part of his follow-up on the condition of the wounded and injured, the Director General conducted an inspection tour that included Al-Amal Hospital and the Military Hospital in Omdurman. He assessed their health status and ensured the quality of care provided to them, directing that the best possible medical services and psychological support be provided in recognition of their bravery on the battlefields.

The Director General emphasized that these visits are part of the General Intelligence Service’s efforts to bolster morale among members of the armed forces, support the families of martyrs and the wounded, and reinforce the value of loyalty to those who sacrificed their lives in defense of Sudan.
