Al-Burhan Offers Condolences to the Libyan Presidential Council Chairman and the Libyan Government of National Unity on the Victims of the Chief of Staff’s Plane Crash

Head of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Lieutenant General Abdul Fattah al-Burhan, sent two cables of condolence today to both the Chairman of the Libyan Presidential Council, Dr. Mohamed al-Manfi, and the Prime Minister of the Libyan Government of National Unity, Abdel Hamid Dbeibah, on the death of the Chief of the General Staff of the Libyan Army, Mohamed al-Haddad, and his companions, following the tragic plane crash that occurred as they were returning from an overseas visit.
Al-Burhan expressed the condolences of the Sudanese government and people, and his sympathy to the Libyan people for this profound loss.
He also expressed his heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims and to the brotherly Libyan people, asking God to have mercy on them.
