There is no place for betrayal in the bosom of the homeland

by: Hassan Al-Sir Ahmed

The homeland is dignity; it is an identity that is neither bought nor sold. Patriotism is not just slogans raised on occasions, but a daily commitment to loyalty to the land that has embraced us and to loyalty to the people among whom we live.

The battle of dignity proved that the homeland separates the good from the bad. The sincere are the ones who persevered and sacrificed, while those who sold their consciences for a handful of dollars chose to be outside the national ranks. These people have no place among us because betrayal is not a passing mistake but a major crime that requires punishment and accountability.

Patriotism means adhering to our values, raising our children to love the homeland, and rejecting all attempts by the enemies to sow discord or buy loyalties. The homeland is the big house that always opens its doors to its children, but it does not accept being stabbed from within.

Patriotism is not an option, but a sacred duty. Betrayal is not a weakness, but an unforgivable moral fall. Let us all be loyal to our country, sow goodness in it, and protect it from any hand that tries to tamper with its dignity.
