Sudan Airways Aircraft Maintenance Completed, Returning to the Country Soon

Sudan Airways stated that the information circulating in some media outlets and social media platforms regarding the status of the Sudan Airways aircraft and the delay in its return from maintenance is inaccurate.
In a press release obtained by The Citizen, the airline added that the aircraft underwent a comprehensive maintenance program in India, in accordance with international aircraft maintenance regulations. This type of maintenance, known as major maintenance, inherently requires a lengthy period due to the precise technical work necessary to ensure the highest standards of safety and quality.
Following a complete technical review with the Engineering and Maintenance Department, we confirm that the aircraft has successfully completed most maintenance phases and is currently undergoing final testing and technical certifications from the relevant authorities.
Sudan Airways is pleased to assure the public that the aircraft will return very soon and will resume flights as soon as the final procedures are completed.
She emphasized that all circulating news is baseless and that such misleading information does not reflect the true nature of the work being done, nor the operational and administrative development that Sudan Airways is currently undergoing.
She reiterated her commitment to transparency, stating that her doors are open to journalists and media outlets to obtain accurate information from official sources.
She concluded by saying that Sudan Airways will confidently proceed with its reform plan, modernize its fleet, and develop its services, placing the interests of the nation and its citizens at the forefront of its priorities, unaffected by rumors.
