Pro Vice-Chancellor of Nile Valley University Receives the Undersecretary of HASSS

The meeting explored avenues for joint cooperation and activating partnerships in scientific research, postgraduate studies, workshops, and seminars.
Dr. Al-Amin Al-Tayeb Al-Tahir, Pro Vice-Chancellor of Nile Valley University, received Dr. Youssef Omar Mohamed, Undersecretary of Higher Academy for Security and Strategic Studies (HASSS) accompanied by Dr. Hala Youssef Abdel-Baqi, Executive Director of the Academy, at his office in the university’s headquarters in Atbara this afternoon. The meeting addressed frameworks for cooperation with the university aimed at developing the region’s human resources in all fields and establishing plans and programs for post-war reconstruction. This cooperation will focus on:
Research and postgraduate studies, with the goal of strengthening collaboration in scientific research and advanced studies; holding workshops and seminars; organizing scientific events to discuss important national issues;
National values: working to instill national values in society through joint activities;
Academic exchange: opening opportunities for students and researchers to benefit from the expertise of both institutions.
The meeting reflected the two institutions’ desire to build a strategic partnership that serves the nation’s interests and supports the advancement of higher education. Benefits to society and the consolidation of national values: through joint activities that promote belonging and social responsibility, in addition to serving national causes.
For his part, Dr. Al-Amin Al-Tayeb Al-Tahir, Pro Vice-Chancellor of Nile Valley University, welcomed the visit, explaining the unity of goals, which serve the state and its people, and which is one of the most important pillars of higher education.
