Mutasem Ahmed Saleh: The government of hope focuses on the issues and problems of citizens

The Minister of Human Resources and Social Welfare, Mutasem Ahmed Saleh, confirmed that the government of hope has raised the slogan of “Citizen First” in health, pensions, and livelihoods, stressing the keenness of the government, represented by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Welfare, to implement programs that achieve this slogan.

Speaking at the enlightenment conference of the Ministry of Culture, Information, and Tourism, organized by the Sudan News Agency in Port Sudan today, Mutasem referred to the 100-day plan developed by the government of hope, stressing that it focuses on paying attention to the issues and problems of citizens.

He addressed the Ministry’s programs in the implementation of the 100-day plan, indicating that the beginning was by conducting a field tour to a number of states, during which the needs of citizens on the ground were monitored, and the implementation of projects and programs and the provision of urgent services to citizens was initiated.

He said that the tour included the states of Khartoum, Kassala, Gezira, White Nile, Sennar, and North Kordofan, and witnessed the launch of a number of projects in the fields of health, improving livelihoods, and social welfare, as well as setting the main features and the path of the required programs in the states, especially the states that have been liberated from the defilement of the rebellion. He noted that the steps taken were based on the directives of the 100-day plan adopted by the government of hope.

The minister touched on the ministry’s plans and programs for the next phase, stressing the government’s determination to provide everything possible to develop social services in the country, especially in light of the destructive war and the aggression launched by the rebel Rapid Support Militia against citizens and the state, which requires redoubling efforts to address the effects resulting from this.
