Minister of Human Resources and Social Welfare: Productive Projects Are a Safety Valve Against Poverty

Nile River: Minister of Human Resources and Social Welfare Mutasem Ahmed Saleh said that productive projects are a safety valve for citizens against poverty. During the inauguration of a group of productive projects through the Zakat Bureau and the Poverty Reduction Commission, at the beginning of his visit to the Nile River State on Monday, he affirmed his ministry’s continued support for productive projects to help people move from the circle of poverty to the production stage.

Saleh praised the efforts made by the Nile River government in hosting and supporting more than five million displaced people. During his visit to the Prosthetic Limb Center, the Minister of Human Resources and Social Welfare committed to continuing to support the center as an important element in assisting community segments and bringing them into the production circle. Saleh visited the Atbara Medical Complex for Health Insurance and witnessed the signing of a contract to renew the capacity of 40,000 families and sponsor three thousand new ones under the umbrella of health insurance.
