Minister of Higher Education : Sudanese Universities are the locomotive of development in the country

Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Ahmed Mudawi Moussa, praised the great role that Gedaref University aspires to play in the scientific, developmental, and humanitarian fields, serving the community of the state, especially in light of the exceptional circumstances that the country is going through, as one of the most prominent successes of the philosophy of the higher education revolution.
The Minister of Higher Education confirmed during his joint meeting at the university’s headquarters today with the university’s higher management, in the presence of Lieutenant General Mohamed Ahmed Hassan, the governor of Al-Qadarif, and Prof. Ibtisam Al-Tayeb Al-Jak, the rector of Al-Gedaref University, that work is underway to solve all the problems and obstacles facing the university in all fields.
He stated that the opportunity is favorable for expansion of the university thanks to the great capabilities of the state, and revealed that the number of a thousand university professors has been trained to achieve the doctorate degree during the coming period, expressing confidence in Al-Qadarif University thanks to the scientific cadres at the university.
The governor of Gedaref, Lieutenant General Mohamed Ahmed Hassan, reiterated the support of the Gedaref government to the university to complete its programs aimed at bringing about scientific transformation in the state and to become the largest scientific beacon in the country, calling on the Ministry of Higher Education to participate with the state in supporting the university to achieve the desired goals.
Prof. Ibtisam Al-Tayeb Al-Jak, Rector of Al-Gedaref University, reviewed the university’s performance report during the past period, saying that the visit of the Minister of Higher Education confirms the state’s interest in Sudanese universities as the locomotive of development to build the modern Sudanese state, and renewed the continuation of applied and scientific research.
