Minister of Higher Education Praises the Role of Kassala in Linking Universities with Society

The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Ahmed Mudawi Moussa, praised the significant role played by the Kassala State Government Secretariat in supporting and coordinating efforts with Kassala University and the Orient University for Science and Technology. He pointed out that Kassala State is a shining example of cooperation with higher education institutions and linking them to the community and the countryside.

This came during the visit of the Minister and his accompanying delegation to the Secretariat of the Government of the State of Kassala, where he was received by Major General Rokn Al-Sadiq Mohamed Al-Azraq, the Governor of the State, the Secretary General of the State Government, and a number of officials.

Prof. Mudawi stressed that the Ministry has an ambitious plan based on a number of fundamental axes, most notably quality, academic accreditation, and scientific researchand reconstruction, pointing out that universities represent a key pillar in the promotion and development of society and the development of its capabilities.

Major General Al-Sadiq Mohammed Al-Azraq praised the strategic partnership between the state and Kassala and Al-Sharq Universities for Science and Technology, explaining that the government secretariat relies on the academic and research centers in these institutions to come up with scientific visions and ideas that contribute to serving the state and its society and developing its resources in a scientific and sustainable manner.
