Khalid Salis: Al-Burhan’s speech reset the national scene , consolidates the unity of the ranks behind the armed forces

Lieutenant General Dr. Khalid Salis Abbakar, Chairman of the Sudanese Youth Movement for Change and Justice, said that the speech of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, carried clear and strong messages that reflected the firmness of the leadership and the steadfastness of the national position at this crucial stage in the country’s history.
Dr. Khalid Salis stressed that the armed forces are achieving great victories on various fronts and proving day by day that they are the state army, the title of their sovereignty, pointing out that these victories have restored confidence to the people and consolidated their conviction that Sudan is capable of defeating conspiracies and confronting the subversive project that was being targeted by the externally supported militia.
He pointed out that Al-Burhan’s speech was not just a political statement, but rather the speech of a head of state who is waging a major national battle. In it, he explained that decisions are made in Khartoum, and that the state will not equate the army with the militia, nor will it allow foreign interventions that affect Sudan’s sovereignty or threaten its unity.
The head of the Sudanese Youth for Change and Justice Movement added that the speech carried direct messages to the international community, indicating that Sudan does not need tutelage, but rather needs respect for the will of its people and support for them in the face of militia terrorism.
Speaking about what is required in the next stage, the head of the Youth for Change and Justice Movement called for unifying the national ranks behind the armed forces, enhancing popular awareness, and intensifying political and media support for the military front, stressing that national accord is the strategic weapon of the state at this time.
Lieutenant General Dr. Khalid Salis concluded his message by saying: “We say to our great people that your steadfastness is the invincible weapon, and we say to our armed forces that you are the pride of Sudan and its protector. We will continue to support the army in the Youth for Change and Justice Movement until complete victory is achieved and Sudan regains its strength and sovereignty.”
