Freini appreciates the efforts of the Center for Civilians in Conflict – CIVIC

The contemplative meeting between the Ministry of Social Development of Khartoum State and the Civic Organization discussed the coordination for the protection of civilians in conflict zones. He met with Siddiq Hassan Farini, Director General of the Ministry of Social Development, the Acting Minister Siddiq Qassam, and Advisor of Civic Mohamed Omar, where he was briefed on the activities and programs of the organization and the axes of work focused on the protection of civilians, the appropriate means for that, and the broad coordination.

Freini welcomed the organization and the community activities, initiatives, and programs to be implemented in partnership and cooperation with the Ministry, as well as the provision of experts and consultants to work on protection files. He pointed out that protection in the social field has a specific definition and a set of laws, and directed the competent departments of the Ministry to take necessary actions.
