EU Moves to Impose Sanctions on Dagalo

Three European diplomats expect the European Union to impose sanctions on Rapid Support Forces Deputy Commander Abdel Rahim Dagalo, accusing the forces of committing human rights abuses.

The diplomats told Reuters that EU foreign ministers are expected to approve the sanctions at a meeting in Brussels on Thursday.

The sanctions include a travel ban to EU countries and the seizure of any assets he owns in EU member states.
