Al-Burhan Offers Condolences to the Turkish President on the Victims of the Turkish Plane Crash

Head of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Lieutenant General Abdul Fattah al-Burhan, sent a cable of condolences to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan regarding the victims of the Turkish military cargo plane crash on the border between Georgia and Azerbaijan.
Al-Burhan expressed the condolences of the Sudanese government and people, and their sympathy to the Turkish people for this tragic loss, which claimed the lives of 20 people. In his telegram, Head of the Sovereignty Council said, “We received with deep sorrow and shock the news of the crash of the Turkish Air Force cargo plane, which resulted in the loss of a number of Turkish military personnel.”
He also expressed his heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims and to the brotherly Turkish people, asking God to have mercy on them. To God we belong and to Him we shall return.
