White Nile Health Insurance Launches Pink October Campaign to Raise Awareness of the Risks of Breast Cancer

Dr. Al-Zein Saad Adam, Minister of Health and Social Development in charge of White Nile State and representative of the Governor, expressed his hope that the Pink October campaign to raise awareness of the risks of breast cancer will be an opportunity for proper planning and reaching a media vision to raise awareness about the risks of cancer.
This came during his address at Freedom Square in Kosti today, at the launching of the activities of the Pink October campaign, which is organized by the National Health Insurance Fund, White Nile State Branch, in cooperation with the Oncology Center in the state, Aram Organization, and partners, with the participation of the initiative Lamia Metawakil for Breast Cancer Awareness under the slogan “Early Detection and Wellness.”

In the presence of Hisham Al-Sheikh, Executive Director of Kosti Locality, Dr. Mohamed Al-Mahdi Bukhari, Rector of Imam Mahdi University, Dr. Qamar Al-Dawla Abdel Muttalib, Vice Chancellor of White Nile University, Mr. Abdullah Youssef, representative of the Director of the Zakat Bureau, Director of the Oncology Center in Kosti, Aram Organization and Department, and a number of directors of departments in health insurance and voluntary humanitarian partners
Al-Zain announced the support of the state government and health work partners in raising awareness and health education about the risks of breast cancer and providing early detection aids and free treatment for the injured.
The representative of the governor referred to the great steps taken by the state government in laying the foundation stone for the construction of an integrated hospital for the treatment of oncology in the state, and called on the media and various media to play a pivotal role in raising awareness of the importance of early detection of breast cancer
