Sudan Medical Specialtion Board Holds First-Part Examinations for the October 2025 Session at Nile Valley University
As part of its ongoing efforts to develop and qualify medical personnel in Sudan, Sudane Medical Specialtion Board held the first-part examinations for the October 2025 session at Nile Valley University, held at the laboratories of the College of Computer Science in Atbara.
The examinations covered number of important medical specialties, including internal medicine, pediatric medicine and health, family medicine, respiratory diseases, anesthesia and intensive care, and other specialties within the Council’s programs.
Professor Sufyan Khalid Muhammad Nour, Director of the Board in River Nile State and Professor of Internal Medicine at Nile Valley University, praised the university’s efforts and extensive cooperation in making this session a success, emphasizing that this cooperation embodies the spirit of partnership between higher education institutions and specialized medical centers.
Professor Sufyan added that the doctors sitting for the exams come from various states across Sudan and will represent an advanced nucleus in supporting medical efforts during the next phase. He emphasized their remarkable role in treating the wounded and injured in the Battle of Dignity, appreciating their dedication to their professional and national duty.
He also praised the national and humanitarian role played by doctors during this phase, commending the heroism of the White Army and congratulating the armed forces on their continued victories.
For his part, Professor Mohamed Al-Fateh Awad Faraj Allah, Dean of the College of Computer Science at Nile Valley University, emphasized that the university’s hosting of these exams falls within its national mission to support the educational and healthcare sector in Sudan. He noted the university’s constant readiness to host affected universities and centers, contributing to the continuation of education and community service despite the challenges.
