Minnawi commends the steadfastness of El-Fashir citizens

Darfur Governor, Commander Minni Arko Minnawi posted the following:

“Today the sons and daughters of El-Fasher wrote a new page in the history of steadfastness, a page titled dignity and victory. Despite the long siege, hunger and destruction, the free people proved that the will of the people is invincible and that the voice of truth rises above the sound of bullets.

Today’s battles bore witness to the courage of the fighters and the steadfastness of the people who did not weaken or surrender. Every street in El-Fasher became a front of pride and steadfastness. Salute to the heroes of the field who restored hope, salute to the mothers of the martyrs and the wounded, and salute to everyone who stood and persevered and said: ElFasher will not fall and our will will not be_broken.”
