Healing Between the Patient’s Joy and the Doctor’s Happiness

Healing is not merely the disappearance of illness or the end of pain. Rather, it is a great human moment in which the purest meanings are revealed. It is a joy that emanates from the depths of the patient, overflowing with gratitude and praise, and blending with pure tears that herald the return of hope to body and soul.

In contrast, the doctor’s happiness is revealed; a happiness of a different flavor, a blend of peace of mind and the sublimity of the message. The doctor smiles not because of personal success, but because he was the bridge the patient crossed to the shores of wellness, and a witness to life’s triumph over pain.

It is a moment when humanity reconciles, where prayer meets gratitude, and effort meets results, in a priceless scene. Recovery is a small celebration in the life of the patient, a badge of pride on the chest of the doctor, and a reminder to us all that health remains the greatest gift, and that mercy is the highest thing that unites people. Perhaps it is a good opportunity, dear reader, for me and you to extend our fragrant greetings mixed with a certain respect and appreciation to the doctors of my country for every moment of noble fatigue and exhaustion for the sake of the people of our good country. Greetings also extend to our colleagues in their profession, the profession of humanity, the doctors of the world. May God protect Sudan and its noble, generous and noble people.
