The Red Sea Health Insurance Supports Suakin Hospital and Prepares to Open Centers in the Countryside

The branch of the National Health Insurance Fund in the Red Sea State provided logistical support to Suakin Hospital today (Wednesday). The Director of the National Health Insurance Fund Branch in the Red Sea State, Dr. Ali Shash, stated that the support, which included beds, patient seats, operating aids, and medical and laboratory consumables, comes in implementation of the directives of the Fund Presidency and the full support of the Director General of the National Health Insurance Fund, Dr. Farouk Noor Al-Daem, as part of the 100-day plan to support the health system and achieve equity in the countryside. Dr. Shash confirmed that the Red Sea Health Insurance is progressing steadily in localizing services in the countryside and announced the completion of preparations for the opening of health insurance centers in Dardeeb, Tokar, Haya, and Arbaat.

The director of the branch of the National Health Insurance Fund in the Red Sea State warned to activate camps, treatment days and the visiting specialist program in the countryside.

For his part, the Director of the Health Sector in the Red Sea State, Dr. Ahlam Abdel Rasool, praised the support of the continuous health insurance for the health sector, in addition to his commitment to enforce the agreement concluded with the sector to provide services and health care to the insured public under the patronage and supervision of the Governor of the Red Sea, Major General Mustafa Mohamed Nour.
