Ministry of Justice signs a memorandum of understanding with Kassala University

The Minister of Justice, Dr. Abdullah Darf, thanked Kassala University for its efforts in hosting the exams of the legal profession (equivalency).

This came during his meeting in his office with the Rector of the University of Kassala Prof. Amani Abdel Maarouf Bashir Othman, Rector of the University of Kassala

Dr. Amani praised the great role played by the Ministry of Justice in all legal fields, especially in light of the exceptional circumstances that the country is going through, adding that this meeting comes to strengthen partnership and cooperation with the Ministry of Justice by signing a memorandum of understanding on the importance of promoting justice and the rule of law, and the role of legal education in building a stable society and expanding the horizons of cooperation between state institutions and higher education institutions in order to serve the public interest.

The MoU included strengthening legal aid services for vulnerable and vulnerable groups, especially those affected by the war and the IDPs, through coordination in providing legal cadres, training and technical support, and raising the legal awareness of the citizen about his constitutional rights and duties through awareness campaigns and community initiatives within the framework of the State of Citizenship and Justice.
