Trump’s Senior Advisor Condemns Killing of Civilians in El Fasher by the RSF
The US President’s Senior Advisor for African Affairs, Mossad Boulos, condemned the killing of Sudanese civilians in Darfur by the Rapid Support Forces.
Boulos stressed in a tweet posted yesterday evening (Tuesday) on his X account that “the United States condemns the killing of civilians by the Rapid Support Forces in the Abu Shouk refugee camp in El Fasher, North Darfur.”
He added that his country “remains deeply concerned by the deteriorating situation and reports of RSF violence against civilians in and around El Fasher.”
Paul called for unhindered humanitarian access and the protection of civilians, including safe passage for those fleeing violence.
Reliable press reports indicated that Trump’s senior advisor for African affairs met with the Head of the Transitional Sovereignty Council in Switzerland last Monday night to discuss the war in Sudan at the request of the United States. The Head of the Sovereignty Council emphasized during that meeting that the Rapid Support Forces would have no political role in the future.
