National Health Insurance Fund Directs to Retarget Poor Families in the 100-Day Plan

The Director General of the National Health Insurance Fund, Dr. Farouk Nour-Al-Daem, directed to re-target poor families in the insurance umbrella in the 100-day plan, especially since the war has put many families in the circle of poverty.
A meeting of the Director-General with the Emergency Management discussed the 100-day plan and the directives of the Minister of Human Resources and Social Development, Mutassim Ahmed Saleh, during his visit to the Fund’s presidency yesterday.
The meeting agreed on the axes and governance of the plan in terms of population coverage, health services and financing.
The meeting approved giving priority to IDPs in the provision of services and reconstruction in liberated states and areas of displacement, especially IDPs in eastern Chad.
The meeting adopted clear programs for safe zones, especially in West Kordofan and Central Darfur.
The Minister of Human Resources and Social Development praised the efforts made by the health insurance in restoring services.
