Moatasem Ibrahim officially assumes his duties as Minister of Energy

Engineer Advisor Moatasem Ibrahim oofficially6assumed his duties as Minister of Energy within the Government of Hope.
In a statement following the handover ceremony between him and Dr. Mohi El-Din Naeem, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Energy and former acting Minister, at the Ministry of Energy headquarters in Port Sudan, Moatasem affirmed that the ministry has a clear vision and implementable plans. He emphasized that the foremost of these plans is to focus on human resources, providing them with training and skills, and making every effort to improve their living conditions to preserve their skills and their extensive experience.
He stated that electricity and oil are the main sources of life and the country’s progress, And therefore, we will pay great attention to them, along with the state’s leadership. He emphasized the pursuit of significant progress and improvement in the electricity sector through the introduction of renewable energy and the provision of petroleum derivatives. He emphasized that the government supports all necessary plans that contribute to the stability of citizens’ lives, especially electricity.
He thanked the ministry’s employees, headed by the Undersecretary of the Ministry, Dr. Mohiuddin Naeem, for their honesty in assuming the duties and managing the ministry’s tasks during the previous period, under the most difficult circumstances. He reiterated his confidence in the armed forces as they wage the battle of dignity in defense of the nation and its supporting forces.
For his part, Dr. Mohiuddin Naeem, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Energy, welcomed the Minister and emphasized that he came to push the work of the Ministry of Energy forward, considering him a key contributor to the ministry with his extensive experience. He emphasized that the next phase will witness significant development and continued cooperation in the oil and electricity sectors.
