The branch of the National Health Insurance Fund in the state of Wilayat has completed the installation of a new X-ray machine at the Model A Health Insurance Center in Port Sudan. The Director of the National Health Insurance Fund Branch in the Red Sea State, Dr. Ali Shash, said that the installation of the new device comes in implementation of the 100-day plan based on the directives of the Fund’s presidency and the four-year strategic plan 2025-2028 of the National Health Insurance Fund.

Dr. Shash explained that the radiology machine contributes to the integration of the services provided by the Red Sea Branch (so that citizens do not have to move from one place to another in search of treatment). He confirmed the Branch’s intention to implement the project of service integration operations in all the presidencies of the municipalities.

The Director of the Health Services Department at the National Health Insurance Fund branch in the Red Sea State, Dr. Siham Mohamed Abdullah, set a date for the start of work on the new radiology machine at the beginning of next month after a two-year hiatus. She explained that the cost of the device amounted to $56,000 and praised the support of the Director General of the National Health Insurance Fund, Dr. Farouk Noor Al-Daem, and the Director of the Red Sea State Branch for the project.
