Health Insurance Provides an Effective Model for Drug Supply to South Kordofan

The Director General of the National Health Insurance Fund, Dr. Farouk Noor Al-Daem, said that the Fund is working on an effective model for the supply of medicines to the state of South Kordofan. During a meeting with a delegation from the government of South Kordofan state, headed by Deputy Governor Abdulrahman Dildom Shalo, he confirmed that the Fund’s presidency will continue to support health services in the state.

Dr. Noor Al-Daem explained that the Fund will work through the 100-day plan to complete the coverage of the IDPs, in addition to the rehabilitation and operation of the facilities affected by the war, as well as the provision of medicines in health facilities, the enforcement of treatment camps, and the visiting specialist program in the war-affected states.

The deputy governor of South Kordofan, Abdulrahman Dildom Shalo, said that the meeting discussed ways to deliver medicines to the cities of Dilling and Kadugli, especially life-saving medicines. Deldoum praised the efforts of health insurance in covering the eastern regions of the state with all services. Shalo called on state institutions to support the state.
