Editorial: Transitional Justice

In a defining moment in Sudan’s history, windows of hope open from the rubble, and the liberated areas rise with a real popular will, refuse to return to the previous equations of ruin looking for a national project
This national project must be from the inside, not by dictates outside, nor by recycling the previous failures.
It is not enough to declare a “government”, but rather we must establish a government of hope, which stems from the will of the masses, and responds to their aspirations for dignity, justice, freedom and sovereignty.
This government can only be built on competencies, and these competencies must be experienced in reality in all its details.
Rather, it should be formulated from the heart of society, and led by those who paid the most expensive price for the survival of the homeland (the Alliance of Dignity). and the armed forces.
At the top of this project, transitional justice should come, not as a political condition, but as a moral and historical basis. Justice is not just accountability, but a recognition of the truth, a return to dignity, and guarantees of non-repetition. Without it, any national project would be fragile, prone to collapse in the first test.
The liberated areas must be a laboratory for the future of the Sudanese
state: –
With strong security institutions, all means of power are supported by the people and the necessary laws that enable them to carry out their duty.
With civil service led by competencies away from exclusion, now who betrayed and lined up with the enemies against the state, and has a negative attitude towards the war of dignity. Encouraging the supportive national media and enhancing the victories of the armed forces and the strong dignity. Only with participatory popular authority here can be built a state of citizenship, in which the law is superior, rights are protected, and pluralism is respected.
Justice is not a negotiating luxury, and it is not a commodity in the settlement bazaar. It is the compass with which nations come out of their wounds, and those who have strayed from them have betrayed the present and lost the future.
