Colombian Channel Broadcasts Prime Minister Kamil Idris’ Speech

Colombian channel Caracol TV broadcast a speech by Sudanese Prime Minister Dr. Kamil Idris, addressed to the Colombian people and government in Spanish.
The Prime Minister had addressed a message to the Colombian people and all Spanish-speaking communities, calling for an end to the recruitment and deployment of mercenaries to Sudan.
The message read, “In the spirit of creativity, solidarity, and commitment to peace, this appeal comes to stand firmly with us to end the siege of El Fasher and stop the recruitment and deployment of mercenaries to our lands.”
In this context, Kamil Idris praised the call made by the Colombian Prime Minister to end the recruitment of Colombian mercenaries in Darfur.
The Prime Minister emphasized that the Spanish-speaking world has made significant contributions to humanity, from the art of Pablo Picasso to the poetry of Pablo Neruda, the narratives of Gabriel García Márquez, and the literature of Mario Vargas Llosa.
