Aqar reviews overall situation in White Nile and inspects development projects

Deputy Head of the Sovereignty Council, Commander Malik Aqar Eyre, chaired a meeting of the White Nile State Council of Ministers, attended by the state governor, Lieutenant General Qamar al-Din Mohamed Fadl al-Mawla.

The meeting addressed service issues in the areas of roads, water, education, securing the state’s borders, and crossings, as well as how to leverage them to enhance development in the state.

He also heard a report from the State Security Committee on the overall situation in the state, particularly security, and the full coordination between the armed forces, the intelligence service, the police, and the joint forces to enhance security and stability.

Aqar reviewed the conditions of the displaced in the state and inaugurated the student equipment convoy organized by the Ministry of Education in coordination with the United Nations. He also inaugurated the internal road works in Rabak City and the ring road being implemented by Zadna Company.

He visited Rabak Water Station, the Medical Corps, the Kosti Heart Center, and the Oncology Center to assess the health sector’s performance and its service delivery capabilities.

In addressing leaders and dignitaries in White Nile State, Agar emphasized the importance of partnerships between the state and community components, particularly religious leaders and Sufi orders, in mending the social fabric, achieving reconciliation, and preserving Sudan’s unity.

The visit of the Deputy Head of the Sovereignty Council to White Nile State is part of his inspection visits to states and regions to enhance the effectiveness of state and regional governments and improve the level of service profvision.
