Al-Burhan issues a decision subjecting all supporting forces to the provisions of the Armed Forces Act of 2007

In affirmation of the rule of law, strengthening command and control, and in accordance with the provisions of Articles 14 and 2.5, paragraphs 2 and 2/e, Head of the Sovereignty Council, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Abdul Fattah Al-Burhan, issued a decision subjecting all supporting forces operating with the armed forces and carrying weapons to the provisions of the Armed Forces Act of 2007 and its amendments, which shall apply to its personnel. All these forces shall be under the command of the commanders of the armed forces in the various regions. The decision shall take effect as of August 16, 2025.
