Port Sudan: Mohamed Babiker

The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Energy and Oil, Dr. Mohi El-Din Naeem Mohamed Saeed, met in his office yesterday with a delegation of leaders from the East, headed by Nazir Mohamed El-Amin Tirik.
The meeting discussed the region’s concerns regarding electricity and fuel.
In a statement following the meeting, Mohamed El-Amin Tirik said, “As we have known the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Oil to share concerns about public issues since the previous year, he has provided assistance to the people of Red Sea State in response to the floods that swept through villages and roads in the East.”
He praised his role in adopting solutions to the problems, especially the fuel for the working companies, which was adopted by the Head of the Sovereignty Council. He also commended all companies operating in the oil sector, appreciating the role played by the Undersecretary in addressing the electricity crisis in Hadalyah and the adjacent areas.
He noted that this came as a result of his experience and previous work in the Sinkat and Dordeib areas, as well as his familiarity with the region’s geography and its problems, which helped him provide services to these communities. Therefore, there was no difficulty in presenting the problems to him.
He said that as community political leaders, we measure the ministers on the ground, and the Undersecretary’s previous efforts confirm this, as he is fully aware of the region’s problems and has developed appropriate solutions at the right time.
He thanked the ministry for its contributions to the Battle of Dignity and addressing community issues.
He added that they are committed to resolving the Haya issue in the coming days, based on what we have learned from the Undersecretary, and that we will be the right hand of the Ministry of Energy and Oil.
