Have you gone through that scary feeling of your heart racing when you check your pockets only to find your phone missing? Or start panicking when it goes down 1% percent? These are real fears many go through and this is what we call nomophobia. The fear of being without a phone But what you should really fear is the idea of being with a phone all alone by yoursair t should be about being alone with yourself. It is ironic that our greatest tool for connecting with others has become the tool for our anxiety. Statistics prove that we have become slaves to your digital devices. Around 70% of smartphone users have to check their phone within 10 mina.jp waking up in the morning. Also not to mention that the average smartphone user touchee the phone around 2000 times daily it is indeed scary though. This may well be the silent epiderms of our digital age it’s a real addiction that is unmistakable. But what’s ironic is that the same devices which we’re using are causing us more stress and wasting our time. So the rear question remains are we in control of our devices or the opposite? The reality is cleam many can’t live without their phones of course metaphorically, but it is starting to look like literally it is the case. Of course the constant usage of smartphones for a long period of time does nave real world consequences. But we don’t seem to acknowledge them and we have no option but to break the cycle. It is in our very best interest to do that.
